After 4 fine performances Földes Gábor succeeded in defending his title. In the final he defeated Daniël Hogetoorn, who became runner-up. Tomorrow (October 1) the second Hungarian Twilight Struggle tournament, organized by Daniël Hogetoorn, takes place in the Board Game Cafe in Budapest. From 8:30am until 9pm, 13 (almost) Hungarians struggle for the title. I will post the results during the day on the Hungarian Championships page on my website.
After an exciting 4th season in which Bill Wycherley took the title, followed by Jedrzej Gasiorowski, Tomas Tvaroh, Ziemowit Pazderski and Jussi-Pekka Latvala, season 5 has started with some new participants and a few resignations. In the end there are still 31 participants fighting for the title!
